Collectors Say:

"Your work is very peaceful and quiet."

Artist Janet Felts always inspired to be a professional artist but was continuously informed that she couldn’t make a living as an Artist.  After a long career as a Graphic Artist and a High School Art Teacher, she retired to pursue her lifelong goal to create her art.  In 2011, Janet rented a studio space in Georgia.  She wanted to return to her home in middle Tennessee where she found the perfect place to live and do her art. She now has her studio at 4682 East Main St., Erin, TN.
Janet earned her Associate Degree in Advertising Art and her BFA in Art Education from Austin Peay State University.  She earned her Master’s Degree in Art Education from Georgia State University. She has had her work juried into shows throughout the southeast and is an award winning artist. She is a member of the Tennessee Watercolor Society, Tennessee Art League, The Chestnut Group, Women Painters of the Southeast, Two Rivers Painters and International Society of Acrylic Painters.
