Biography
My name is Jackie Longino Davidson. I am a self representing contemporary artist and have been creating art since I was a young girl. I grew up in Louisville Kentucky, but have come to love the Gulf Coast of Alabama and have called it home for over thirty years. I have attended many workshops and learned various media and techniques from a variety of talented artists/teachers. I have also studied many books and magazine articles to expand my "art horizons". Now with a keyboard and computer at my fingertips, I can study most anything or with anyone from my home studio. Amazing!

You can see her work on Facebook, her blog: http://suzisart.blogspot.com/, Youtube, and Pinterest. I will be learning more about her "painted papers" and collage work. An exciting adventure, for sure!I attended a one-day ArtBiz workshop with Alyson B. Stanfield. That was a great experience! I took copious notes on her tips concerning how to be effective in marketing my artwork personally, rather than entrusting such an important aspect of my business to a stranger. You can sign up for her newsletter for great information and upcoming events/workshops, here: http://www.artbizcoach.comI spent a wonderful week participating in a Sumi-e workshop with Mary Rodning: https://www.facebook.com/maryrodning, in Mobile about 20 years ago. Her serene personality contributed so much to the experience of learning the brush stroke techniques of [...]
