Thanks for visiting my website! Embroidering on canvas with assorted embellishments and acrylic mediums is my main activity.  I also create installations, do mosaics, paint and sew.Creating stories and celebrating the connections between color, texture, and mediums is what I love to do.Spirit skulls and women's faces & stories are my main subjects.
Grandmother taught me to stitch as soon as I could hold a needle without jabbing myself. I always loved to draw and took art classes throughout the SF Bay area at California College of Arts & Crafts (now known as CCA),  San Francisco State University & Stanford University.
I’m inspired by Folk and Outsider Art and am often influenced by my Jewish, Mexican, and Native American heritages. C&T Publications asked me to author a book on my mixed medium embroidery process with open ended tutorials to inspire the readers to stitch. “Artful Embroidery on Canvas” was published in 2020.   I'm hoping to open an online shop for the small works  and handmade items in 2022!!!
