The Artist Says:

When is a piece of art I am making finished? I never know until it gets there.

Thanks for discovering my artwork. Take your time to look through the finished pieces and in my future artist blog posts, a behind the scenes view of how I approach my creative process, the reasons behind my choice of materials, the particular art style of the piece, and how there are often hidden details and meanings in some of my works. After a decade or two of career sidetracks (read: earning a living), I have recently been able to carve-out time to get back into creating art on a regular basis - my "Third Act", lets see where it goes.
"May you live in interesting times." is a famous quote, and I can certainly identify with this statement. Culturally, we are digitally changing centuries of practices in the art of capturing visual images through drawing, painting, photography and printed books that reflect our world. It's hard to know for sure how much of this digital imagery will survive 50 to 100 years from now and it could very well be that the physical works of art still being created by today's contemporary artists are what will best capture these times.
