Gary’s recent work has been recognized in Society of Washington Spring Art Shows. Nine-Eleven won 1st place in 2019 and previewed during the opening of Vancouver’s Cave Gallery which focuses on experimental contemporary art by local artists.  Journey picked up a 2019 award from the Jack Richeson Art Company during the same show, and Hiding in the Scraps placed 3rd in 2017 in the category of water based media.
Always a storyteller, Gary wrote three novels between 2005 and 2016. Leaving the Bones Behind, Gabriel's Covenant and Mercy in Masquerade are all currently available -- on Amazon.

He was guest painter in two Clark College classes in Vancouver, Washington in 2019.
Recent art shows include: 2016 and 2017 Arts of Clark County Open Studio Tours, two 2017 Spring shows sponsored by the Battleground Art Alliance in Battleground, Washington and the Society of Washington Artists Spring Show in 2017 and 2019. His art started showing in The Camas Gallery in 2017 after a show —“Art for the Life of Elephants” — at the Second Story Gallery on the Second Floor of the Camas Public Library.  “Touch of Red”, a twelve piece exhibition of his latest work, opened at The Camas Gallery on 4th Avenue [...]
