Gary paints seascapes from coastal New England and the west coast.  His style is naturalism with emphasis on light and atmosphere.  
Gary has won a second place award in the 2009 Hilton Head Art League National Exhibit, Second place in the 2007 Cape Cod Art Association National Exhibit, and third place in the 2004 Beacon Hill Art Walk.
His work was displayed at the Mountain Song Galleries in Carmel California, as a part of the 2011 American Impressionist Society National Exhibit.  He was a guest artist in the February 2010 'Colors of the Night' Exhibit at the Saks Galleries in Denver Colorado.
His work was also selected to be in the 2006 Boston Museum of Fine Art's Summer Auction Party, and his work has been on display at the Cape Cod Museum of Art. 
His work was also selected to be in the Salon International Exhibit at the Greenhouse Gallery, San Antonio Texas.  His work was selected to be in the 2011, 2010, 2009, and 2007 American Impressionist Society National Exhibits.  
Gary's work was also juried into the Oil Painters of America 2006 Eastern Exhibit and he also participated in the 2012, 2010, 2009, and 2008 Cahoon Museum's Paint Out Auction.
Gary is an associate member in the American Society of Marine Artists and his work was selected to be in their 15th National Exhibition.  In this Exhibit his painting was displayed in eight prestigious museums across the country.
Gary has also given painting demonstrations and workshops at various art assocoations.
He is an associate member of the American Society of Marine artists, Oil Painters of America, and a signature member of the American impressionist Society.
