Art has always been a part of my life. I received my first oil paints at age 7. I am from Binghamton New York. I studied studio art and art History at Wells College in Aurora, NY. After graduating, I worked in the Princeton Art History department and met many fascinating artists and critics. I also critiqued Princeton's department of art/art history's art shows.
Over the years, I have continued to pursue painting, taking classes to improve my skills and  have been photographing thousands of ideas.
In 2014 I was introduced to fused glass as a medium. I should say reintroduced as Corning Glass is not too far from Binghamton NY. I began taking classes with Linda Boyes, Lisa Vogt, Patti Gray, Janine Stillman and online workshops. I collaborated with  glass blowers to doing roll ups with their assistance.  I have developed a colorful style sometimes playful and  expressing the natural world in abstract and  realism styles.
Currently I'm working on Historic Churches in New Mexico ( a love of mine for 4 decades) and collaborating with skilled tinsmiths to present them in traditional frames.
In Fall 2019, I opened Glimmerglass Art in Corrales, New Mexico. The Gallery has been thriving through the pandemic closures and changes in the art world.
I'm currently the ex President of the Corrales Society of Artists, a participate in past and current  Corrales Studio Tours, Alameda studio tours. Was invited by Janet Boethne to participated in the artists of Alameda  Exhibit at her studio/gallery. I was presented along with other artist  in SouthWest Art magazine's featured article on the Corrales Studio Tour, Fall 2021.
