I paint to express the beauty, and the mystery, of the world around me.
Elizabeth Stallings creates original art infused with sensitivity. She captures the emotion of the subject, painting the connection between the artist, the work, and the audience. Elizabeth combines technical expertise with mastery of color and form, to express her artistic vision in a variety of mediums: oil, acrylic, mixed mediums, drawing, and pastel. She particularly enjoys composing art in a bold dramatic style that communicates the physicality of the paint. Elizabeth addresses natural themes and the tensions manifest between the architectural world and nature. Her award winning work is featured in both corporate and private collections in the United States and Europe.
Elizabeth  attended The Atlanta College of Art where her studies laid the ground work to develop and fine tune her unique style. In addition, she focused on color theory, classical realism, and portraiture instruction, while receiving guidance from internationally acclaimed artists. Elizabeth's art exhibits a personal style that is a combination of realism and experimentation. The classical approach to painting and drawing, in conjunction with a strong foundation from The Atlanta College of Art, prepared Elizabeth for the challenge of working with art students on an individualized level.
Elizabeth emphasizes the individuality of art with her students.  She teaches a variety of drawing and painting classes for adults as an instructor for The Hudgen's Center for the Arts in Duluth, GA. She encourages her students to recognize their artistic strengths, and she focuses on a fun, instructional environment. Elizabeth’s constructive approach encourages student success and improvement.
Elizabeth also teaches fine art classes for children and teens at The Dacula Classical Academy, located in Dacula, Ga. She conducts workshops and classes for artists, provides demonstrations and lectures for local art organizations, and teaches classes that combine art with the core curriculum in local county school systems.
