What fun I have with a paintbrush in hand, another between my teeth and a Chopin prelude resounding in my head!  I paint or sculpt for the sheer pleasure of the creative experience, and occasionally I make something worth sharing.  I hope you find pleasure and an occasional smile as you view my work.
Elizabeth DARON Redmon is an Anaheim artist working in watercolor, acrylic, oil, mixed media, and clay.  Elizabeth began to paint when she enrolled in a Continuing Education class in 1985, working at that time primarily in oils.  Since then she has studied with Margit Omar, Carl Purcell, and Fealing Lin, among others. Since retiring from administration at the University of Southern California, Elizabeth devotes her time to creative activities in the visual arts, dramatic arts, music, and writing.  She is an active participant/leader/instructor in the MVAL Artist Cooperative and the Arts Division of the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at Cal-State Fullerton.
Elizabeth has been honored with five solo exhibitions and has received numerous awards at local, national and international shows.   Her paintings have hung at the Orange County Museum for Contemporary Art, the Hunt Library, Paxton Gallery, Brea Art Gallery,  Guggenheim Gallery at Chapman University, Muzeo's Carnegie Museum, and the Museum of California Art.
