Biography
As a geologist, I was originally drawn to the photography of landscapes. As time has passed, I have started to incorporate more of the urban landscape as part of the overall study. A shifting of the rock formations and majestic trees of nature to the building materials of the urban setting. The definition of urban is broad, as the photographs include small villages such as Point Lay, AK to cities such as San Antonio, TX. The use of traditional silver gelatin printing provides a timeless quality.
