Biography

Dina is an artist living in the state of Washington.Several years ago while on a trip to Paris, she fell in love with art at The Louvre.  This love of art took her through many years of personal research and study in the technique of oil painting.  She perfected her skills through participation in workshops of many local, national and Russian artists.  She is deeply grateful for their instruction.  She is also inspired by the paintings of Nicolai Fechin and Joaquin Sorolla.Portrait painting is her first love.  She aspires to portray the inner beauty she sees in people.  She finds it a rewarding challenge to capture those hidden qualities and try to transfer them onto a canvas.  She also enjoys painting landscapes and still life studies as a discipline, but eventually always returns to her first love of portraits.
