Diane has been on a creative journey all her life, starting with drawing at an early age and continuing with formal studies in art history and architectural design. Pursuing a life in the arts led to further study in printmaking, photography, life drawing and graphic design.
Although her career has included many creative disciplines, painting has always been her destination. As owner of a full-service graphic design and marketing firm for over a decade, the desire to paint grew until a plein air workshop in Sedona became the turning point that inspired a dedication to painting outdoors, and confirmed the decision to transition into fine art. The light and landscape of the Southwest drew her to move to Arizona in 2004. Diane's work has won many awards and is included in private and corporate collections nationwide. Her work has been on exhibit at the West Valley Art Museum in Arizona, and the Best and Brightest show at the Scottsdale Artists School.
"What interests me is sharing the beauty and serenity of our natural environment in a way that has us look closely, and see newly.
