An example of fine art by Diana Springer

Photo of Diana Springer

A lifelong resident of the Huntington area, in West Virginia, now living in Lavalette, I am a graduate of Marshall University (and Vinson High School).  To further my art education, I have also completed numerous art classes and participated in various art workshops with prominent national artists including Daniel Greene, Lori Putnam, Dan Graziano, Ken Dewaard, Roger Dale Brown, Mary Whyte, and others.  I am also a board member of Tri-State Arts Association and the current secretary.
For a few years I've been a Tamarack Artisan, Tamarack whose home is near Beckley, West Virginia.  I have also taught painting workshops through Grumbacher at Michael's Craft Store, and on my own at Hobby Lobby in Barboursville.
I have been creating and selling my artwork for more than 35 years. I specialize in commissioned portraits, usually working from a photograph and other personal information to produce a likeness that not only captures the subject’s appearance but personality as well, to create a family heirloom.  Or if you have a favorite photo of a pet or home, I can work with that also.
