Debbie was born and raised in the beautiful small town of Sugar Hill, New Hampshire. She spent a two decades living in the glittering cities of Dallas , Texas and then Houston , Texas .
Her family was a creative one ; her Mother was an artist, muscian, and actress, her Father created model trains and soldiers, her sister is a muscian as is her Brother inlaw and nephew, her Niece studied film editing, and her nephew is a musician.
She began her formal training at Colby Sawyer , New London, New Hampshire then continued at Franconia College, Franconia, New Hampshire, The Museum School of Fine Arts, Boston, MA and with Arthur Turner + Charles Schorre at the Glassell School of Art , Houston , Texas. She has studied with several of the nations top watercolorist including, Zoltan Zabo, Robert Woods and Carol Carter .
While in Texas she exhibited her work in Juried shows and galleries, winning numerous top awards, one of which was a one person show at the Texas Medical Center, Houston , TX.
In New Hampshire she has shown at Sugar Hill's Lupine Festival, Inns and Arts Tours at Sugar Hill Inn, December of 2010 and 2011 , WREN Gallery in June 2012 and September 2014 in a two person show and Littleton Hospital October - December 2012 .
