An example of fine art by David Kyle

David has always been interested in art. He began college studying architectural engineering, then architecture, finally obtaining his degree in engineering.  He then began a 34 year career with a Tulsa-based Fortune 500 energy company retiring as Chairman and CEO.  During his career, he often drew and sketched as a hobby artist.  He admired the work of and often collected paintings by impressionist painter Leonard Wren.  A subsequent meeting with Leonard led to a request "that if he would take on a student, I would sure be interested."   Leonard critiqued one of his paintings, suggested that he bring a canvas, which led to weekly one-on-one sessions that lasted about two and one-half years.  David and Leonard developed a great friendship, have painted "plein aire", and made a twelve day painting trip to France.
David continues to live in Tulsa with his wife, Tracy, and sees Leonard almost each week where they "solve all the world's problems", talk about art and artists, and especially enjoy Leonard's freshly brewed espresso.
