Art and the Sea have always been Danielle Perry’s passions. Her desire to paint started at a very young age and much of her free time was spent exploring mountains or the coastal shores of the St. Lawrence river. 
Trained as a graphic designer in Montreal, Canada she worked 8 yrs as designer, illustrator and creative director for Trudeau, a Canadian manufacturer and distributor of tableware. She was considered the hallmark of the company and her tableware designs were acclaimed and sold worldwide.
In 1998, the Quebec City native followed her life long dream of living a tropical lifestyle and relocated to South Florida. Living in the yacht capital of the world “Fort Lauderdale” landed her in the yacht industry working as private yacht crew and she quickly worked her way up the nautical ladder to chef position. A cross Atlantic voyage on a 150” expedition yacht from Florida to Italy and working as chef for Nathaniel and Lady Rothschild on a beautiful 103’ Wally sailboat in Greece are some of the highlights of her yacht career. She applied her creative skills as freelance yacht chef for the rich and famous for almost 20yrs. Working on yachts have allowed her to explore the Mediterranean, Caribbean, Bahamas, New England several times onboard the most beautiful yachts 80' - 150'. While Danielle Perry enjoys the creativity of cooking at sea or private island estates, it’s leisure travel and painting that really floats her boat.
Her extensive portfolio draws 'most' of it’s inspiration from countless travels to the Bahamas, especially the Abaco islands and the wild and secluded islands of the Exumas. Her scuba-diving and snorkel adventures have also been a great source of inspiration for her marine life paintings.
