I love to live a Bold Life enjoying art, humor, loving family & friends, discovering, traveling and of course there is no doing all this without chocolate! Perhaps the most important thing is what I have said for many years... Life is not a Spectator Sport! You have to Make your life happen! 
The truth is out- I'm old enough to have seen the Beatles perform in 1964 but young enough to see my favorite, Paul McCartney perform in Detroit, MI 40 years later and have a ball dancing the night away! And THAT was ten years ago- PLEASE don't Do The Math! 
My husband Bill and I relocated from our beloved Michigan to North Carolina, in 2003.  After a rewarding 17 year Real Estate career, I returned to my first love, ART.  Before the move, I studied pastel painting with (the late) August Gloss of Romeo, and attended workshop training with Doug Dawson.  
The Beginning: After a bit of nesting in our new mountain home, my beginning was to connect with many of the artists in WNC and get to know the gorgeous area. First, I joined the Art League of Henderson County and sold my work at The Art Market Off 7th Ave in charming Historic Hendersonville.  The owner of the best gallery in town discovered me (via her director at the time, Harry Sparshott) and that was the beginning of a great relationship with Wickwire FineArt/Folk Art on Main St. in downtown Hendersonville, NC.  I demonstrated Collage Art at the (now closed) Arts & Heritage Gallery in the Grove Arcade in Asheville, and actually met my favorite Artist Geek (friend and business consultant Laurie McCarrier, who created my first book Carolina Moments in 2015.)
