Artist Bio
Cliff Stephens began painting watercolors ( after several years painting Acrylics) in 1978 where he showed locally in the Atlanta area while working full time. He began painting full time in 2015 after a dormant period, while working in the corporate world, where he only painted a few pictures a year. He is now painting full time again. He also has a number of paintings available as Giclée Prints. These Limited Edition Prints are printed on  Hahnemühle Fine Art Textured Watercolor paper. You can also see some past and present work at this site.

Cliff formally studied art at Georgia State University, College of Art and Music in their Visual Arts Curriculum (Drawing and Painting as well as Art History) from 1980 - 1986. But he considers himself largely self taught. He feels that he learns something with each painting.

His subject matter includes marshes, seascapes, florals, local scenes as well as some scenes from where he has lived or traveled.

Take a few minutes to view images of his work both present and past. His paintings and prints hang on walls in Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, Alabama, Mississippi, Louisiana, Kentucky, Texas, Colorado and Oregon - possibly other states. One of them hangs in Canada and another in Germany. Cliff recently moved back to Southwest Florida where he hopes to show his art in local galleries again.
