Artist CJ Baumann

An example of fine art by CJ Baumann

Photo of CJ Baumann

Essentially a self-taught artist, C.J. has always had a keen eye for capturing details. Dinosaur and wildlife sketches occupied much of the free time in his boyhood years. He enjoyed and excelled in school art classes, but always assumed art would stay a ‘hidden talent’ of his.  However, during his tenure at Texas A&M University his skills were noticed and he began being sought out for commissioned artwork. Through the encouragement of satisfied clients and mentors, C.J. began eagerly expanding his art education and skill set.

Shortly after entering active duty military service in 2013, C.J. was selected to be a contributing member to the National Museum of the Marine Corps’ Combat Artist Program.  C.J. currently resides in Quantico, Virginia, with his wife and son, where he’s balancing his military and family responsibilities with his passion to grow as an artist.
