Chester Kasnowski  currently teaches art at the Smithsonian, Washington, DC and the Workhouse Arts Center, Lorton, VA. His works are in the collections of the Museum of Modern Art, NY, the Guggenheim Museum, NY , the Tate Gallery, London , the Stedelijk Museum, Amsterdam and others.  He has had numerous solo exhibitions in New York and elsewhere. He held a Curator of Education position at the New Orleans Museum of Art and was the Gallery Director of the Southern Vermont Arts Center, Manchester, Vt. He has a BFA from the Dayton Art Institute / University of Dayton and a MFA from Tulane University.    Kasnowski  has taught art since 1968. He currently teaches art workshops and classes that he has designed such as: "The Foundations and Traditions of Art; Who was Fibonacci and why should an Artist Care?", "Electronic Painting; Hands on Digital", "Drawing Dot to Dot; You make the Dots", "Oil Pastels for Everyone", "Splash and Dash-Draw like Tiepolo" and "Painting using what Visual Systems Neuroscience Discovered Lately"  Studios in Reston, VA and Weston, VT.
