Cheryl Coe Eppolito's first oil painting was done in 1969 when she was a senior in high school, in Buffalo, New York. This would be her first and last painting for many years. After a receiving a B.S. in Education from The State University College of New York at Buffalo, she enjoyed a teaching career in East Longmeadow, Massachusetts.  After retiring, Cheryl and her husband moved to Hilton Head Island from 2004 to 2009.  She now resides in Beaufort, South Carolina.

Cheryl is a serious painter, painting everyday and is now enjoying teaching private lessons in her home studio. Her paintings have been the recipient of many awards, among them recently being selected for the Art Pop Award, showcasing her painting Morning Glow on a local bill board. She was also recently chosen to exhibit at the 40th Anniversary Marine Art Invitational at the Principle Gallery in Charleston, South Carolina.
Her work is shown in many private collections throughout the U.S., Europe, and Canada.  She is represented by the  Pluff Mudd Gallery in Bluffton, South Carolina and at MacDonald Marketplace on St. Helena Island, South Carolina.  She is a juried member of the Oil Painters of America and a member of the American Society of Marine Artists.  "The countless images I dream of painting, from a child playing in the sand dunes to an old boat on [...]
