Artist Carol Tufford

An example of fine art by Carol Tufford

Photo of Carol Tufford

Art has always been part of my life. I grew up in the Pacific Northwest and then moved to California in the 1970's.   Drawn to the sheer beauty and simplicity in nature I attempt to portray this beauty in my artwork. I enjoy exploring color, light texture and form.
I retired from the corporate world in 2014 and spend time in my studio every day.  My painting style can best be described as contemporary impressionism and I also enjoy exploring abstract art, working with clay and other natural materials.
