Artist Carole Glass

An example of fine art by Carole Glass

Photo of Carole Glass

Carole grew up exploring the open fields and country roads on her bicycle. These adventures resulted in an affinity for nature's colors, textures and shapes. At the age of 12, the gift of a rangefinder camera (with manual focus and exposure settings) was a tool for composition and light effects. Later, photography became a passion. During college, Carole created photos for design projects, entered her work in competitions and worked in her own darkroom. After earning a BFA from the University of Wisconsin Milw., Carole had an accomplished career designing print, video and website marketing projects for private publishing and various corporate entities in Wisconsin and California. In 2012, she returned to painting contemporary fine art full time and prepared to paint the rest of her life. Her main influences include Georgia O’Keefe, John Constable and Claude Monet.
