Bernadette put her Fine Arts career on hold for a number of years to raise her three children.   Now that they have grown, she resumed her art by joining the Lincoln Open Studio Artists.   For the past five years, she has been working mainly in soft pastels and discovered the joy of plein air painting.   In July of 2020, she was accepted as an Associate Artist member to The Pastel Society of America.  And recently became a member of the Board of Directors for the New Hampshire Pastel Society.
