 Belinda Gabryl graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a MFA in ceramics and a minor in Meso-American art history. For the next five years she was head of the three-dimensional design department at Brookhaven College in Dallas, Texas. She moved to New York for two years and then settled in Providence in 1984 where she established a ceramics production studio and taught college art on a part time basis.  In 1998 she discontinued her production lines to concentrate on ceramic sculpture and unique clay designs. Her work is included in many museums and private collections both national and international. She is a Board member of the Art League of Rhode, Attleboro Arts Museum and The Foundry Artists Association.  In addition to her studio work, she currently teaches at Eastern Connecticut State University.
