Biography
I fell in love with the graceful lines of the human figure a number of years ago, and attempt to capture a gentleness and warmth we all would wish to have in an imaginary friend.
After graduating design school, I worked for many years as an environmental designer. While life at times life gets in the way, my imagination and plans for new paintings continue unabated. I look forward to painting smaller works in the future, but for now, as in the past, the larger scale of my images of girls and turtles and angels and a bird friend or two allows me to create images in a visually flat but substantial way that satisfies my eye.
I'd rather learn from one bird how to sing than teach ten thousand stars how not to dance...
