Biography

Born in Texas, I enjoyed the rustic landscape and western influences of growing up in San Antonio.  I studied Art Education at Texas Women's University and began my teaching career in Denver Colorado. I also taught art in Air Force schools in the Philippines and Germany. During that time I was exposed to an entirely new dimension of the world around me with visits to the fine art museums of Europe.  I also spent many holidays exploring the stunning scenery to be found in the mountains and small medieval villages.

Currently my work is represented at Alpenglow Images Shop in Estes Park, Colorado, Moosewalk Studios, Vermont and with collectors in Colorado and Missouri.  I recently finished a portrait of an Austrian alpine ibex as a special gift for Trapp Brewery in Stowe, Vermont.  I also provide wolf/wolf dog portraits for W.O.L.F. Sanctuary in Fort Collins, CO for auction at their annual fund-raiser.

My passion is to provide a window into the gentle nature of wildlife and the rural solitude of old farms and weathered landscapes.  If you are a nature lover, an animal lover and relish the outdoor [...]
