Biography
Barbara Field is a native of the Los Angeles and Pasadena area. She has a lifelong inclination to draw and paint. Barbara has a literature degree and retired from a career in investigations. She has won awards for her paintings and participated in juried shows. Since 2010, Barbara organizes weekly Saturday painting outings for a group of half-a-dozen regulars and many more occasionals. Barbara also volunteers with Free Arts, a Los Angeles organization that provides arts and crafts opportunities for children who have experienced trauma. Barbara works primarily in watercolor, and values its freshness and spontaneity.
