Thank you for visiting my site, hope you enjoy my art as I did making it.
I love to paint plein air. There are challenges, but I feel it it helps me capture the mood of the place at the time.  I am fascinated with the beauty of the landscape in different lights, it is the inspiration for my pastel painting. Often favorite places re-emerge time and again in my work, depicted through the seasons and at different times of day. I sometimes paint in my studio if the weather does not cooperate.  I paint mainly in pastels and have always loved to draw with pencil & charcoal, my subjects are mostly landscape, birds, fish, life and of course, Labrador retrievers.
