Annjannette Christinne Larsen is a full time artist living on the island of Kodiak, Alaska, where she is surrounded by the beauty that inspires her work.  Although she has had no formal training in art, Annjannette grew up in a family where art was  prevalent.  Her mother is a painter and carver, and her father builds beautiful furniture.  Another strong influence was Annjannettes' grandmother, Beatrice Larsen, whose paintings of scenic Alaska were always in view as Annjannette grew up.  Annjannettes work has been published in Alaska Magazine and she has been selected as the 2010 Kodiak Crab Festival poster artist.
