Anita Langford is a watercolor painter who loves the spontaneity and sensitivity of the medium.  She enjoys painting landscapes, interiors and subjects with historical interest.  New England seascapes and Urban Scenes are often subjects for her paintings.  Anita has exhibited her work in juried shows and taught watercolor painting classes. Her work was recently selected for the Northeast Watercolor Society Annual Show.
Prior to pursuing her interest in watercolor painting, Anita worked professionally in Information Technology and Management Consulting for major corporations in New York.  She holds a B.S. degree from Michigan State University and a M.S. degree from Wagner College.
 In addition to attending art classes at the State University of New York, Anita has studied with noted artists, such as, Mel Stabin, Charles Reid, and Frank Webb.  Her work is found in many private collections.  Her work, 'Ocean View' was recently awarded First Place in the category of watercolor at the Bridgeport Art League Annual Juried Art Exhibit.  
Anita is a Sustaining Associate member of the American Watercolor Society, the Northeast Watercolor Society and the Lyme Art Association.
