Amy is a graduate of the Alabama School of Fine Arts and received a BFA in Fine Arts from Auburn University. She has over 30 years of experience in design and marketing, including marketing and sales for the Warner Art Collection in Tuscaloosa at Gulf States Paper, which consisted of one of the largest, privately owned American art collections in the world. She is now the Executive Director of the Kentuck Art Center in downtown historic Northport, Alabama. Kentuck's art festival is the 3rd weekend each October and is one of the top ten folk art festivals in the nation.
Amy has served on the Board of Directors for Big Brothers/Big Sisters of West Alabama, the Board of Directors for the Tuscaloosa Advertising Federation, the Board of Directors for the Kentuck Art Association in Northport, Alabama, and the "Friends of Public Radio" board for WUAL and a graduate of the 2016 class of Leadership Tuscaloosa. She currently serves on the Christian Education Committee, First Presbyterian Church, the Tuscaloosa Bicentennial Committee and the Tuscaloosa Tourism and Sports Board of Directors . She was appointed to the Art in Architecture Board for the new federal building completed in 2011 in Tuscaloosa by the Government Services Agency in Washington, DC.
Amy, formerly Amy Holt of Montgomery, Alabama, resides in Tuscaloosa with husband Mike and her adopted dog Matthew. Her son, Chris Gattozzi - USMC and his wife Sassy have three children and live in Tuscaloosa. Her step daughter Christy and husband Guillaume LaFon currently live in Paris, France.
