Abraham loved drawing as a young boy, resulting in being selected for the Iowa School's "Gifted & Talented" Arts program at age 7. His sketchbook became his travel journal as he volunteered his time in Zambia, Peru, Guam, and Mexico.
He studied at the New York Art Students League with esteemed artist Daniel E. Greene (Portrait & Figurative in Traditional Oils), and with William Scott Jennings (Landscape Painting from Life.) 
Abraham has been nationally recognized for his work on the Clear Lake Library Mural Project, winning the 1st place trophy award for Best Mural at Fauxcademy of Distinctive Finishes, Las Vegas, NV.  He is a juried member of Oil Painter's of America.  Two of his paintings landed spots in the 2nd 100 of the National Paint America Top100 Competition in 2008.  His paintings received bids among the 5 highest at fundraising events for Francis Lauer Foundation. Abraham's paintings are in private collections, as well as in public buildings. He is currently represented at the Terakedis Fine Art Gallery, Billings, MT.
