Discuss: Is Anyone Getting Answers to their Questions?

LaurieLaw: I just joined FASO and thought before I invest much time and effort, I would peruse the Help Forums -- and found several questions that I would really like answers to (i.e., adding PayPal buttons to artwork, altering the FASO templates provided), but I see NO DISCUSSION or ANSWERS beneath any of these comments. Is anyone else seeing the same problem? Or is this specific to my browser (Safari). I am on a Mac.

The FASO templates are not especially appealing to me and I would like to use a customized template if possible. I know how to design websites and want to use the FASO marketing tools -- on my custom web site. Is THAT possible?

Laurie, we apparently have a bug (which we are fixing now) that isn't reporting the number of responses. We also deployed a change to our commenting system that temporarily caused an issue for the last 2 days. If you look at threads older than 2 days you will see that they actually are active.

You won't be able to use a template that you design due to the highly specific way a FASO template has to work. We can do some customization of your site and our team for $50/hour can work with you to use your designs (with some limitations). The other option, if you are will to wait a bit, is we are exapanding our templates greatly this year. We should have be adding 1-2 new templates a month starting in the near future as we have spent the first half of the year streamlining the template process to add outside designers. There may be a future time that we can allow people such as yourself to test their own templates, but we still have a bit to go before we are at that stage.

So far I have only asked one question but that was answered very quickly and well! Great service!

So far I had also some questions and I received answers every time and it was explained always very great. If someone has a technical question you can use also the Technical Support. Go to Control-Panel...then right side you see "other options"..and there ist "Technical Support"..then you choose "Open a new ticket"..there you can ask directly your question and then you really get quick answers!

That's a good point that Coco brings up. Although the forums are active (just didn't appear to be due to the bug we've now corrected), once you sign up you can open tickets to speak directly to FASO support agents as well.

If I could work some hours a day for FASO..I would do it, because I really love this system. Sure, there are many efforts to make in future but all great things tske time to be realised in detail. Coco
