Isn't that so true! Dilemma of all artists! Thanks for the laugh.

Debra Keirce
This is so ME!!!!!

Rose Anne Huck
Ha! Sometimes I put off buying supplies for these very reasons!!! I just want to try everything and enjoy exploring new options in materials!

Q: Would someone really do that?
A: Yes. Once a month!

Great cartoon!

Robert Birkenes
John Weiss' refreshing professional simplicity is so very welcomed to see in the complex world of today. He has a gift of being able to communicate so strongly and beautifully thru his great cartoon style drawings. Kind regards, Robert Birkenes

Hollan Holmes
It's funny because it's true!

So true!!!! Specially if you've been an artist for many years.

Mary Arneson
Shave the mustache, throw silver hair on the head and you've got ME Perfectly!!! ð

Linda Slonim
I laughed so hard when I read this. Appreciate your kind of humor, John. I thought this was talking directly to me. Of course, I wouldn't do it, but I have actually fantasized about it. Going to a local art store - Artist and Craftsman - in Charleston, SC, is one favorite things to do.

Betty Henderson
John, I am really enjoying your Sunday Life of Art series. You are very talented.

Don't you EVER stop with the cartoons! They make my day!

I could open and art store with the stuff I've got! And since I have cats, I love the cat! His comment on your painting--the hairball!--was great!

Joanne Benson
Love this one! As those who commented before me, I can truly relate! Online ordering compounds this dilemma even more! The more you order the bigger the studio overflows! I have more art supplies than I can possible use in my lifetime at this point!

John P. Weiss
I think we can all relate to the fact that art supplies are expensive! When I tell my non-artist friends how much a tube of cad yellow costs, they can't believe it! Thanks one and all for your gracious comments, I'm glad you enjoy the cartoons!

Lynne Pinchin
Yes this always happens to me. Shopping at the art store is dangerous

Susan L. Vignola
That would definitely be the downfall of far more artists than just me.

Nicholette Fetsch
How do you ever come up with these hilarious ideas? LOL

Cristina Del Sol
Yes, most artists I know buy everything they need plus all the new stuff to try , including me.
I remember when I herd about Quinaquidrone Gold was to be discountinued. I contacted three suppliers and got a gallon from each. Now I have a supply for life.
Things we do as artists!

Carol McIntyre
How can we post your cartoons on Facebook? If you want us to do this, I believe there are lots of artists who would enjoy them. Of course, you would get credit.

Gerri Bradford
Have been following the series since the beginning, but this one related to some of my habits. They are all very funny!
