David -- you said, "However, the idea that all students should find a comfortable 'fit' at any university is a error, and reminds me of the 'No Child Left Behind' program thought that is currently at hard on America's pre-college educational system."

On this issue I'm saying-- if colleges and universities are looking for students who adhere to specific ideologies they should make that clear in their promotional material instead of appearing to be open to all ideas. If a college or univeristy wants to embrace a specific direction in that manner-- so be it-- but they should be upfront and honest about it.

Furthermore, if a college or university is in fact looking for students who share that same direction, and they also happen to receive public funding, perhaps that public funding should be cut because obviously not everyone from the general public will be treated fairly based on the views enforced by the school. Just saying.
