Instagram Now an Option for FASO's Social Media Profile Buttons

About 6 months ago, FASO implemented new Social Media Profile Buttons for enhanced template users and the response has been great.  Many of you have followed the simple steps for adding the buttons and have remarked on the more cohesive look that it lends to your websites.

Our original buttons included Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Google +, LinkedIn, and an RSS button but in the time since we've released this tool, Instagram has made quite an impression on users - prompting many of you to ask if we could add it to the social media buttons feature.

For those of you not familiar with Instagram, it's an online photo-sharing and social networking service that enables its users to take pictures, apply digital filters to them, and share them on a variety of social networking services, such as Facebook or Twitter [source].

At the time, the popular social network, Instagram, did not have web profiles.  You could only view an Instagram profile from inside the Instagram smartphone apps.  So when we launched our social profiles, there simply was no way for us to add Instagram as an option.

Recently, however, Instagram launched web profiles, so we jumped on it and added Instagram as an option in your social profile settings.

Here's how to add it to your enhanced template in two easy steps.

1.  Login to your FASO control panel home page.  Then, select the Social icon in the top row of navigation icons.

2.  Add your Instagram URL and save changes.

And here's a quick look at how the Instagram button looks on an enhanced template.

Social media offers many different ways to market your art and FASO can help you keep up with the growing trends.  Implementing social media buttons is quick and easy, leaving you plenty of time to keep doing what you love most - creating and sharing your amazing art.
