Biography
Kathleen Dello Stritto has been painting professionally for over 30 years in oil, acrylic, watercolor, and pastel. She is a member of Oil painters of America and a Signature Member of the Southwest Watercolor Society and Texas Visual Artists. Her paintings have been exhibited in galleries in New Mexico, Colorado, Arkansas, and Texas as well as in over fifty juried and invitational shows, most recently in the "2011 Art in the Metroplex" in Fort Worth, Texas, and the "2012 Salon International" in San Antonio, Texas. Her work has acquired by Electronic Data Systems, Children's Medical Center of Dallas, Tarrant County ACCESS, The Westwood School, and Morgan Stanley Smith Barney. She lives and works in Hurst, Texas and Angel Fire, New Mexico. Kathleen's work is famous for dramatic light and shadow patterns and her focus on echoing shapes and patterns in both nature and man-made objects. Images within images are a re-occuring theme in her still lifes, interiors and landscapes.
