Biography
I am a self taught artist. I attended art schools in California and Texas. One professor of life drawing affected my art for the past thirty or so years with his Nicolaides approach to drawing. I attended the Florence Academy of Art. I studied with professors and graduate students who are themselves accomplished artists.
My paintings and drawings are in homes in Samoa, Germany, California, Colorado, Texas, and New Mexico.
Drawing remains fundamental to all my work, whether it is figurative, landscape or still life. I do not do portraits.
