Biography
J. Stephen Street marked 50 years of painting in oils in July of 2007. More than 30 of those years have been inspired by living and working in the beauty of Hawaii with the diverse and wonderful people who call Hawaii home. His original oil paintings have been selected for juried art competions in Hawaii, a four artist show at a gallery in Washington D.C. and in more than 15 private collections.
Stephen still maintains his day job as an attorney who has represented some of the finest professional photographers in Hawaii, as well as other artists, in copyright matters for more than 25 years of his 34 years of practicing law. His passion to create on canvas has only deepend and become more compelling over the years and he is excited and energized to be making more time to paint and to be showing his works again. [...]
