Bonnie B Anderson
Bonnie is a painter and teacher of Fine Art.
After attending the American Academy of Art in Chicago Illinois, she studied extensively with working artists nationally and abroad to develop skill in painting and teaching.
She founded The Studio (Studio in the Woods) Art school and gallery which she owned and operated for 25 years.
During this time she was a member of the prestigious Palette and Chisel Academy of Fine Arts and had the honor of serving four terms on their Board of Directors.  Two terms under the Presidency of her friend, mentor and inspiration, artist, teacher and author  Richard Schmid.
Bonnie and husband Bob moved to Arizona where she was active at the Scottsdale Artist School serving on their curriculum board for seven years.
Bonnie and Bob are currently living outside Charleston S.C. where she continues to paint.
Bonnie paints in oil on linen.  She thinks of her style as classic, timeless realism.  She strives for an old world elegance in her subject be it landscape, still life, portrait or figure, in hopes of capturing the beauty of a moment in time.
